Critique #1 : Run Lola Run
Opening Image: Blurry image of a crowd of people walking around with a man speaking in the background in German.
Cinematography: Bright colors, reds and blues used a lot. Lots of medium close up's, over the shoulder shots used.
Characters: Lola: early 20's, low diction, wants to save her boyfriend Mani
Mani: early 20's, low diction, wants to be with Lola but needs to get money for his boss first
Music: Techno beat throughout the movie, heavier when Lola is running.
Scenes: I liked how some of the movie was a cartoon and every time it showed Lola through the TV running it was slightly different, it made the movie different and interesting.
Closing shot: Lola and Mani in the street walking in Germany.
Recommendation: I would recommend this movie to someone who enjoys seeing something different and out of the ordinary, I've never seen a movie like this before.
